Imperial Sauce
 
3 Tbsp  soy sauce
1 Tbsp  dry sherry
1/2 cup  chicken broth
  salt and pepper; to taste
  garlic powder; to taste
1 slice  ginger; finely chopped
1/2 tsp  sugar
1   tsp, cornstarch (rounded)
 
combine all ingredients and mix well. it is used in making 
oriental beef imperial where it is cooked to thicken.
