Paunch Phoron Mix
1/2 oz cumin seeds 
1/2 oz fennel seeds 
1/2 oz mustard seeds 
1/2 oz black onion seeds or raw sesame seeds 
1/2 oz fenugreek seeds 
 
combine all seeds for a nutty flavored mix. 
use mix, toasted, to flavor rice, beans or vegetable dishes. 
for example: to spice up 4 cups of cooked rice, toast 2 tbsp. seed mix in 1 ts cooking oil, over low heat, about two minutes or until seeds are slightly browned.
