Mom's Old Fashioned Salmon Loaf
 
16 oz.  can red or pink salmon, remove bones
2/3 cup  chopped celery
2 Tbsp  vinegar
3/4 tsp  salt
1/4 tsp  pepper
1   beaten egg
2/3 cup  quick or old-fashion oats
3/4 cup  light cream or milk
 
combine all ingredients, and mix well. pack into greased 9-by-5-inch loaf 
pan. bake at 350 degrees f for 60 minutes. remove from oven, and let stand 
five minutes before removing from pan. 
 
note: one can cream of celery soup and 1/2 cup milk can be substituted for 
the celery and milk.
