Daikon Relish: Sesame Pickled Japanese Radish
 
1 medium  daikon
3 Tbsp  vinegar
1 tsp  salt
1 Tbsp  sesame seed oil
1 Tbsp  sugar
 
daikon relish is pickled without heat. 
scrub the radish; peel (optional). trim the ends. thinly slice or finely 
julienne. mix well with the marinade ingredients. refrigerate at least 2 
hours, preferably overnight. serve as a relish.
