russian tea
 
2 large  family tea bags or 8 tea bags, (mccormick or lipton)
8 cup  boiling water
1 tsp  whole cloves
1 or 2 stick  cinnamon, to taste
1/8 tsp  powdered nutmeg (optional)
1-1/2 cup  sugar
  juice of 2 fresh lemons
  juice of 2 fresh oranges
 
when making tea, always take the tea to the water! steep tea bags in 
boiling water, covered for 3 whole minutes. remove tea bags. add cloves, 
cinnamon stick, nutmeg. allow to steep with the spices while covered for a 
couple more minutes. add juice. reheat to simmering before straining and 
serving in china cups.
