Korean Barbecue (Bul Kogi)
 
4 to 5 lb.  beef short ribs
2 clove  garlic, crushed
1/4 cup  sesame seeds, toasted/crushed
1 cup  finely chopped scallions
1 tsp  pepper
1 tsp  sesame oil
2 cup  soy sauce
1 cup  sugar
1/4 cup  oil
 
place short ribs in bowl. add garlic, sesame seeds, scallions, pepper, 
sesame oil, soy sauce, sugar and oil and toss to coat meat well. cover and 
let stand at room temperature 2 hours. barbecue over coals or under 
broiler, turning and basting often with marinade until meat is tender.
